DRDO GTRE Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), Bengaluru is one of the premier R&D Establishments set up under the Defence R&D Organization, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. Eligibility Criteria for DRDO GTRE Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Qualifications: BE/BTech/Diploma/ITI Pass/Graduate General
Age Limits: Minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years as on 6th June 2026. Maximum age limit will be applied as per the provisions of Govt. of India.
ITI Trades: Machinist / CNC Machining Tech, Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, COPA, Data Entry Operator.
Diploma Branch: Mechanical/ Production /Tool & Die design /Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics/ Computer Science Engg. /Computer Networking /Information Technology & Communication /Electronics & Instrumentation.
Pass Out Years: Only those candidates who have passed qualifying examination in the Year 2022 or later are eligible. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination before 2022 are NOT eligible.

Selection Process for DRDO GTRE Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Depending upon the vacancies available in various categories and disciplines, selection
of candidates will be carried out by short listing on the basis of academic merit / written test /
interview or combination of the above, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents.
Note: ITI Candidates must get enrolled on National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme
(NAPS) portal https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in of Govt. of India.
Note: Other Candidates must get enrolled on National Apprenticeship Training Scheme
(NATS) portal https://nats.education.gov.in of Govt. of India.
